I've got a secret to share: I sing in a band. The Devil May Cares include me and five lovely men (one of whom is in A Number Of Young Lovers), and together we make music that's been described as avant-pop and weird, in a good way.
We've had some ups and downs recently with members disappearing, new ones cropping up and new material being written. IT'S NOW ALL ABOUT THE UP. Swollen at one point to a joyous eleven members, we now have the basics of a rock band, fleshed out with piano and three vocalists. It's all rather fun, if I do say so myself.
Londoners, come see us play 'Folk & Dagger' next Tuesday (April 5th) at Zigfrid von Underbelly in Hoxton, for £3 before 8pm and £4 thereafter. It's going to be delicious. We'll be bringing most of the Dagger.
